Let's say you had the following situation :
You want to order all of your MVR's from Softech, except for Oregon
MVR's which you want to order from the state through e-mail.
You have a great county criminal vendor in Mississippi who you'd
like to use for all of your counties except Noxubee, because
their agent in Noxubee always messes things up so you want to
use USIS for Noxubee county.
You have another great county criminal vendor for Texas. But
you've seen too many errors from their Hays and Travis county
researchers so you want to review those reports before they go
to the customer, but not any of the others. And these guys
charge $2 more for their Travis county state fees than is
customary, which you want to pass on to your customers.
You want to do all employment screening yourself, except that you
know your staff can only handle about 10 screenings a day. And
you have one big client who sometimes sends you 100, so you
outsource all volume > 10/day to Employment Screeners LLC.
Except those guys can only handle another 50/day, so you want to
send volume beyond that off to USIS.
You use USIS as a catch-all company for everything not covered
above.

Do you help with client invoicing?
You bet! We've got three invoicing models. You may use all, none, or
a combination of them. With any of the models, we calculate your
client's bill for you. Package fees, addon fees, state fees, the
works.
Credit card payment
Our first model is direct credit card payment. With this model,
your customers must supply a credit card (we'll keep everything
but the CVV code on file for them if they wish). Their report is
accepted by you for processing only if the automatic billing of
their credit card is successful.
Each customer may be flagged as being required to pay with a
credit card or as an invoiced customer individually as their
account is set up.
Invoices created by us
Our second model is for our platform to build the invoices for
you. In this model, we create invoices for you automatically on
whatever schedule you wish. Our invoices can be minimal to
detailed, and billing details are always available to the consumer
for review online.
When we create invoices for you, we brand the invoice with your
logo, address, customer service numbers, etc. Click here to see a

Invoices created by you or an external program
We also provide a CSV exporter that you can use to export all
billing details into an external system for manipulation and
invoicing however you'd like.
What credit card processors do you support?
Paymentech and authorize.net. If you already have a processor,
call us and we'll give you a schedule
for integrating your current vendor.
What web browsers do you support?
Internet Explorer 6+ and Firefox 2+ are tested and supported on windows,
linux, and MacOS. Netscape, Mozilla, Gecko, and Opera are likely to work
but are not tested.
Can I run searches for my clients?
Sure! Your clients can fax in orders which your order entry staff
will enter using the same incredible data entry technology your
clients use.
Data entry is so fast, you can easily transcribe orders over the phone for
your clients if you like.
Once the order has been filled, it can be electronically delivered
to your client or your customer service staff can mail or fax it
to them.
Can I or my clients save in-progress orders?
Sure! Orders can be saved for any reason -- incomplete data, waiting
for an offer to be made, whatever. They will show up on the
search results page as "not ordered" and can be edited or deleted
at any time.
Another useful feature that we offer is "template ordering". If a
client runs the same searches on most of their staff, say a
Texas MVR, a Texas Sex Offender, and a Travis County Criminal
search, they can create a search configured that way, save it as
"work in progress", then use it as a template to order from as
often as they'd like.
Can my clients upload bulk MVR searches?
Yes! The system comes with easy to use excel spreadsheet and CSV file
interfaces
for customers who want to run a large number of drivers' licenses,
such as for their annual required review.
Your customer service staff can upload the spreadsheet for them or
they can upload it themselves. Some of your larger customers
will want to write an automated data exporter that loads directly
into your system, which is where you can offer them our CSV
interface.
Do you offer an ASP model?
Yes! We have servers in a data warehouse that will host your ordering
website. All of our servers are 64 bit servers with live data
mirroring to a failover machine. All are protected both by UPS
and diesel backup power generators, with multiple internet feeds.
Can we run your software on our server?
Yes, depending on your volume. When you use your own server, there's
no additional software to buy. No server OS licenses, no database
licenses, it's all included. This can save you thousands or even
tens of thousands of dollars over competitive solutions.

What data providers do you support?
We support any data provider who can accept search requests via e-mail
and fill orders in a web browser.
We also support many data providers with an automated ordering interface,
HR-XML or otherwise. We add new automated providers regularly,
and we do so free of charge (monthly minimums may apply). Call us with the providers you use
and we'll answer your questions.
Can you sell me data?
Yes. Our core business is selling our software. However, we have
contracts with full-service data providers and can sell you data
if you like. This is an especially attractive option for smaller
operations as we pass our volume purchasing discounts on to you!

Will my customers know they're using your server?
No! We brand our software with your logos, your customer service
phone numbers, your address, and your signup contracts. We also
provide you with MS word and Powerpoint copies of our training
materials and users' guide so that you can customize them to your
company and customers.
Most of our clients prefer their privacy, so we do not advertise
our client list on our website or anywhere else.
Who else uses your system?
Sorry, but most of our customers are very protective of their data and
software sources. If you would like references,
call us and we can arrange reference
calls.
How long does it take to get set up?
Anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. It depends largely on how
quickly you sign our contracts and get your customizations
(logos etc) to us.
Do you support Microsoft Windows XYZ?
We support any platform that can run a modern web browser.
I'm a researcher using FRS. Can I integrate with you?
If you're using the FRS LinXML platform, you're already integrated! FRS'
president, Phil Chapman, has confirmed that while FRS does not
support integration to their old platform, your LinXML license
authorizes you to use it to integrate with us. Thanks Phil! A
number of FRS clients are taking advantage of this to offer
services to our clients and we invite you to do so as well.
Should you choose to offer your services to our clients with your
LinXML interface, we invite you to advertise your services on
our supplier page.
If you're using FRS' old platform, you may choose to develop your
own integration using our XML interface, or you may choose
another integration technique. You can find more information

I'm a data provider. How can I
offer my services to your customers?
If you're
integrated with us
and meet our requirements, you can list your services free of
charge on our
data providers page.
If you're using our software, you're ready to go. We also have an
integration with FRS' LinXML platform. If you're using it, call
us to get connected. If you're using another third party
software supplier, you may contact us for a copy of our XML
programming specifications which they can program to. You may
also wish to call us to set up a three way conference between
you, ourselves, and your software supplier to develop a plan
that benefits all parties.
